BIO

Clara is an Italian-born Chinese graphic designer based in Vancouver.

After earning a degree in Foreign Languages and Literature from the University of Florence (Italy) in 2012, she pivoted to design, beginning her career in Shanghai at the Australian agency Paper Stone Scissors.

She moved to Canada in 2016 to complete a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, and in 2018 joined boutique branding agency Ballentine Media, where she worked on brand identities, campaigns, packaging, photoshoots, and web design for local and U.S. brands.

Since 2021, Clara Zhou has freelanced as a graphic designer from her Vancouver home studio, working with clients across fashion, lifestyle, education, health, and beauty.

Off the desk, she trains in weightlifting, yoga, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and escapes into nature to recharge.
